Make Fritzbox routers reconnect

If you're using a FritzBox-Router and have UPnP enabled there's a Firefox-Plugin Fox!Box that adds a reconnect option to the rightclick-menu.

    There is also a nice Java based Download Bot called JDownloader capable of reconnecting not only Fritzbox routers. It also schedules the reconnects according to the downloads in its queue.
